Hire NowDeputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob stated that a few more areas in Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Johor, Kelantan and Sabah are to be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) starting July 9 until July 22.
Sabah
The minister said that among the localities in Sabah that are under the EMCO are:

Kampung Sungai Imam in Tawau,
-
One Borneo Condominium in Kota Kinabalu,
-
Kampung Lembising and Kampung Dumpil Keramat in Putatan.

Kampung Balibata in Beautfurt,
-
Kampung Pintasan in Kota Belud,
-
Kampung Istimewa, Batu Sapi in Sandakan.
In a statement yesterday, he said that the EMCO is to ensure the control of the movement of residents in these localities to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 infection to other areas.
Seremban will be placed under EMCO from July 9 until July 22.
Negeri Sembilan
Ismail Sabri also said that the EMCO would also be enforced for:

The entire district of Seremban, including Ampangan, Labu, Pantai, Lenggeng, Rasah, Rantau Seremban and Setul.
Johor
The EMCO will involve several areas in Kulai district, including:

The Indahpura Industrial Area,
-
Seven localities in the Senai Industrial Area: Senai Industrial Area Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 and Phase 4, Senai Industrial Park, Murni Senai Industrial Park and Senai Airport City (SAC).
Pahang
-
Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial (MCKIP) workers’ quarters in Gebeng, Kuantan.
Kelantan
-
Taman Kurnia Jaya and Taman Pinggiran Golf in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
End of EMCO in certain parts of Sabah and Kelantan
The minister also stated that the government has decided to end the EMCO in several areas of Sabah and Kelantan:

Kampung Kukut and Kampung Tahak, Membakut in Beaufort,
-
Kampung Tambulion Ulu in Kota Belud, Sabah,
-
Kampung Pulau Tukang Dollah, Kemumin in Kota Bharu.
The EMCO will end at 11:59 pm today.
Premises ordered to close for defying the SOP
Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri said that the authorities had ordered 29 premises, including factories, businesses, construction sites and workers' dormitories, to close for violating government directives and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The compliance teams carried out inspections and 'snap checks' or surprise inspections across the country.
