Everyone knows Elon Musk. Known for his revolutionary ideas in the tech world, Elon Musk created an online financial services firm at the age of 28. Through Tesla and SpaceX, the technology entrepreneur has accomplished almost everything one could ever dream of.

With 20 years of successful startups, would it be possible to condense all of Musk’s accomplishments in a single page, in a resume format

Novoresume, a resume writing firm took this challenge and drafted Musk’s life-long accomplishments in a single page resume. Here’s what it looks like:

Of course, there are a few tongue-in-cheek elements in this resume that you might not want to copy for your own resume. For example, in the “skill and competencies” list, one of his skills is “micromanaging”.

Known for his high standards, Elon once described himself as a “nano-manager”, a play on words meaning he’s even more controlling than a micromanager. He once said “I have OCD on product-related issues. I only see what’s wrong. I never see what’s right. It’s not a recipe for happiness.”

This resume proves that no matter how much one has to write about their achievements, it can all be fitted into a single page resume with the use of efficient design elements and proper vocabulary.

One thing this resume missed is Musk’s early life successes, but this is only because it’s an updated resume of Elon Musk drafted by Novoresume. The firm had previously released a similar resume of Musk mentioning his accomplishments with Zip2 and Paypal. Here’s the previous resume:

This resume includes a four-level rating system in which some of the skills listed are not rated at a full four bars. You may want to consider that idea before using it on your own resume.

But it still proves that with the right design, you will never need more than one page for a resume. Save those words for your curriculum vitae
