Steps to Claim:

  1. Visit the nearest BSN branch once the payment phase (Fasa 1, 2, 3, or 4) begins.

  2. Bring origins MyKad (original) and proof of STR approval (printed or screenshot from the MySTR portal).

  3. The BSN officer will verify the details and disburse the cash.

HR can prepare a short internal memo reminding staff of BSN claim periods and necessary documents. If required, HR may also issue a simple employment confirmation letter to support employees’ claim verification.

How Employees Without Bank Accounts Can Check STR Status

Employees can easily check their STR status online using the official STR portal. HR departments are encouraged to print or share these instructions internally.

Steps to Check STR Payment Status:

  1. Visit https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my

  2. Click “Log Masuk MySTR”

  3. Enter the employee’s MyKad number

  4. Proceed with the security verification and password login.

  5. Click “Semakan Status”

  6. If the payment method shows “Tunai di BSN,” it means the employee must claim cash at a BSN branch.

Employees need to update bank details when they open a new account and keep their contact information current to avoid missed payments in future phases.
