How to Register Haji Using KWSP (Step-by-Step)
The process is simple and can be completed in a few steps.
Step 1: Get Your Penyata KWSP
We need a KWSP statement (penyata KWSP) as proof.
We can:
-
Download it via i-Akaun KWSP
-
Print it at any KWSP kiosk
Step 2: Visit Tabung Haji or Bank Panel
Go to any Tabung Haji branch and select “Daftar Haji”.
We can also register through:
-
Panel banks (Bank Islam, Bank Rakyat, Maybank Islamic, CIMB Islamic)
-
THiJARI platform
-
Tabung Haji mobile counters
Step 3: Submit Required Documents
Bring:
-
MyKad
-
Penyata KWSP
Step 4: Verification and Haji Queue
After fingerprint verification, we will receive our Haji queue year (tahun giliran).
The registration is complete without paying RM1,300.
Why This Matters
Many people delay Haji registration because they think cash is required first.
In reality:
-
No need to prepare RM1,300
-
No KWSP withdrawal required
-
We can secure our queue immediately
The earlier we register, the earlier we get our turn.
Already Registered for Haji? You Can Still Switch
If we previously registered using RM1,300 deposit, we can switch to skim pendaftaran Haji KWSP.
After switching:
-
Our Haji queue remains the same
-
RM1,300 deposit can be refunded
-
Registration stays valid
Even if the Tabung Haji balance drops below RM1,300, the queue is not affected.
Why You Should Register Now
Delaying registration can lead to:
-
Longer waiting time
-
Later queue placement
-
More difficulty in planning
Registering early helps us:
-
Secure an earlier giliran
-
Plan finances gradually
-
Avoid last-minute pressure
