KTMB Provides Additional ETS Train Services for State Elections and School Holiday

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has announced providing two additional ETS train services for the Padang Besar-KL Sentral-Padang Besar route with the upcoming state elections and the school holiday.
The additional trains will operate for three days, from August 11 to 12 for the state elections and from August 25 to September 3 for the school holiday.
During this period, there will be a total of 26 additional ETS services, bringing the daily trips to 34, compared to the usual 32 trips on normal days. The tickets for these other train services will be available for purchase starting from 10 am on Saturday, August 5.
For the Padang Besar-KL Sentral route, the additional ETS services will depart at 11 am and arrive at 4.36 pm. The KL Sentral-Padang Besar route will depart at 5.05 pm, arriving at 10.34 pm.
A total of 630 tickets will be available daily for these additional services, including for business class coaches, making it a total of 8,190 tickets.
As of Friday, 68% of the tickets for the ETS services have already been sold.
The public is encouraged to purchase train tickets through the KTMB Mobile (KITS) application or the official website to ensure smooth travel during the state elections and school holidays.
