The Malaysian government has saved an estimated 334,000 litres of fuel just one week after starting its work-from-home (WFH) policy on 15 April.

Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the total savings from 15 April to 21 April reached about RM678,000.

The savings came from around 155,000 penjawat awam who joined the programme, reducing daily travel by working from home instead of commuting.
