Hire NowIn an effort to support civil servants and ease their financial burden during the festive season, the Pahang State Government has announced a one-time Aidilfitri bonus of RM1,000 for state public servants.
Additionally, a special discount program on essential festive goods has been introduced to help all residents of Pahang celebrate comfortably and affordably.
How Much is the 2025 Aidilfitri Bonus for Public Servants in Pahang, and Who is Eligible?
The Pahang State Government has allocated RM8 million to provide a special Aidilfitri bonus of RM1,000 to approximately 8,000 state civil servants.
This financial aid is meant to ease financial stress and allow public servants to celebrate Hari Raya with their families without extra financial worries.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail emphasized that this bonus is not just a financial contribution but also a token of appreciation for the dedication and hard work of state employees in serving the government and the people of Pahang.
When Will the 2025 Aidilfitri Bonus Be Paid?
Eligible public servants will receive their bonus one week before Aidilfitri.
The early disbursement ensures that recipients have sufficient time to make necessary preparations for the celebration, such as buying festive clothing, preparing meals, and traveling to visit loved ones.
Is There Any Other Assistance Besides the Bonus?
Yes! Apart from the Raya bonus, the Pahang State Government has also launched the Program Jualan Makmur Kluster Perayaan Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2025.

What Did the Chief Minister of Pahang Say?
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail expressed his hope that these initiatives will not only help public servants but also ensure that all Pahang residents can enjoy a more affordable and joyful Aidilfitri celebration.
He emphasized that the Pahang government is committed to supporting its people and easing their financial burden, especially during significant festive seasons like Hari Raya.
“Hopefully, this special Aidilfitri financial aid will boost the morale of civil servants and encourage them to continue serving the state with excellence for the prosperity and well-being of Pahang” he said.
With the combination of the RM1,000 Raya bonus and the special discount sales program, the Pahang State Government aims to ensure that all civil servants and residents can celebrate Aidilfitri with joy and financial ease.
Do Private Companies Also Give Aidilfitri Bonuses?
While government employees in Pahang are receiving a RM1,000 bonus, private sector employees may also get festive bonuses, though the amount varies.
Some companies provide small cash incentives, gift hampers, or shopping vouchers as a token of appreciation.
However, unlike the public sector, these bonuses are not standardized and depend on the company’s financial performance and policies.
This difference highlights the stability and benefits of government jobs, while also showing how private businesses contribute in their own way to helping employees celebrate the festive season.
