Hire NowPetronas has continued to be the top-ranked employer since last year in the 2022 LinkedIn Top Companies list in Malaysia. This is LinkedIn's second annual ranking of the 15 best workplaces to grow one's career.
In a statement, LinkedIn said the fully integrated oil and gas company topped the list, followed by Maybank, Bosch, Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), and B. Braun Group.
It said that Petronas is committed to upskilling its employees to adapt to the rapidly changing business environment.
LinkedIn added that of the seven local companies ranked in 2022, three were government-linked companies (GLCs) and government-linked investment companies (GLIC): Petronas, Maybank, PNB and TNB (number 11).
LinkedIn said these government entities are among the biggest employers in Malaysia and continue to hire talent ranging from entry-level to senior roles, as well as providing internships and trainee programme opportunities.
Maybank provided a flexible work arrangement and a hybrid work environment that enabled employees to access hot-desking and collaborative meeting rooms. At the same time, PNB started new flexible work arrangements, enabling 1,750 employees to work from home during the Covid-19 pandemic.
