On November 19, Malaysians will cast ballots in the 15th general election to select the party that will receive a fresh five-year mandate to govern the country.

The country has experienced political unrest since the most recent elections in 2018, a time when three prime ministers have served the country. The polls are supposed to bring about some tranquilly.

In order to establish a government, a party or coalition needs 112 of the 222 federal seats up for election. Therefore parties will fight to gain them.

Option 3

Employees who need to travel to their hometown or other locations not reachable within the time off provided are encouraged to apply for half-day annual leave, and the company shall grant an additional half-day unrecorded leave.

Option 4

Employees whose voting centre is in other states and require more than one day to travel and vote shall be eligible for one (1) day of unrecorded leave. Employee shall apply in writing five (5) days before the voting day.
