Are you looking to digitalise your business? Are you finding it challenging because of tight cash flow? Worry not, the Selangor state government is providing you with SME Digitalisation Matching Grant!

Selangor SME Digitalisation Matching Grant

The Selangor state government provides a 50% matching grant or a maximum of RM5,000 for Selangor SMEs to subscribe to their selected Digital Service Provider (DSP).

The Selangor SME Digitalisation Matching Grant is worth RM5 million and aims to help the state's SMEs digitalise their businesses.

The Five Digitalisation Areas of the Grant

  • E-commerce: The buying and selling of goods & services using the internet and the transfer of money and data to perform these transactions.

  • Human Resources & Payroll system services: This solution simplifies and takes care of your business's payroll processing and other HR-related matters such as talent management and benefits.

  • Cloud accounting: An accounting software that is hosted on a remote server. Users can access the software applications through the internet or other networks via a cloud application service provider.

  • Digital marketing: Any online marketing efforts or assets such as email marketing, social media marketing, pay-per-click advertising, website development, and blogging. Digital marketing introduces people to your business and persuades them to buy your product.

  • Electronic Point of Sale (E-PoS): A combination of hardware and software designed to help you run your company more effectively. E-PoS systems record sales information and generate detailed reports in response to the input data.

  • Payment gateway: An e-commerce software that authorises payments for online merchants, brick and mortar businesses and others. It connects to e-commerce on in-house payment processors such as credit cards processing networks or online banking.
