Socso’s International Public Employment Forum 2021 Goes Virtual

The Social Security Organisation (Socso) is organising the International Public Employment Forum 2021 (IPEF 2021) to help revitalise Malaysia's labour sector by sharing information and best practices to rebuild life after the pandemic.

The International Public Employment Forum 2021: Reviving, Realigning and Rebuilding the Labour Market will be held from September 6 to 9.

The virtual international forum will feature three crucial simultaneous programmes:

• Socso's Regional Return to Work (RTW) DIGIMOS Symposium 2021 (September 6 to 7) for disability management practitioners across Southeast Asia, 

• International Public Employment Services Symposium (September 7 to 8) for best practices in employment-related policies, and 

• Career Fair (September 7 to 9)

According to Socso, all three programmes are open to everyone, and participation is free of charge. The organisation urged the public, including employers, job seekers, professionals, graduates, academicians, and school leavers to join IPEF 2021.

RTW DIGIMOS Symposium 2021

The first symposium of its kind, this programme aligns with Socso's effort to continue supporting persons with disabilities to deal with the challenges posed by the pandemic. 

Themed 'Navigating Disability Management Through the New Normal: Return to Work Process Re-engineering', the programme is expected to gather more than 1,000 participants from Southeast Asia. The panellists consist of experts in disability management and rehabilitation in the workplace field.

IPEF 2021 will take place from 6 to 9 September.

International Public Employment Services Symposium

This programme is expected to attract more than 40,000 participants and is a platform for leading labour market figures to share their insights on rebuilding the country's economy after the pandemic.

• Job prospects and more
