The third phase, STR Fasa 3, begins 12 August 2025. With a budget of RM2 billion, this round of payment will reach 8.6 million recipients. Each eligible individual may receive up to RM650 in this phase (depending on income and category).

Methods of STR Payment
Employees can receive STR Fasa 3 through:

Bank Transfer: credited directly into the recipient’s registered bank account.

Cash Collection: available at Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) branches for those without bank accounts or if bank credit fails.
STR Phase 3 Payment Dates
The payment date starts at 12 August 2025. The disbursement will be paid in stages, depending on the category and method of payment. Bank transfers are usually processed first, followed by BSN cash claims.
Employers should note that payment timing may vary slightly, especially for new applicants or appeal cases approved in 2025.

Recipients can verify their STR Fasa 3 payment details through the STR official portal: https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my. Follow these steps below:

Enter the applicant’s MyKad number

Confirm security keyword

Information displayed will include:

The system will display: applicant’s name, MyKad number, application status, and Phase 3 payment details (if eligible).
How to Read the Latest STR Status
Employees may see different status updates when checking STR:

Approved (Lulus): Payment will be made according to category.

In Process (Dalam Proses): Application still under review or awaiting verification.

Rejected (Tidak Lulus): Not eligible. Employees can file an appeal (rayuan).
If details such as bank accounts are wrong or outdated, payments may be delayed and staff may need to claim manually at BSN.
Forgot STR Password
If employees forget their STR portal password, they can reset it online:

Visit the STR website.

Click on “Forgot Password”.

Enter your 12-digit MyKad number and click “Check”.

Provide your registered email and click “Next”.

Confirm your security keyword, then click “Yes”.

Answer the given security questions and click “Next”.

Create a new password and confirm it, then click “Change Password”.

A notification will appear confirming that your login ID has been updated.
If you fail to answer the security questions correctly after three attempts, your MySTR ID will be temporarily blocked. You can try again after 24 hours.
