Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) recently announced the launch of the THiJARI Biz, an expansion of its application that allows companies to contribute to their employees' pilgrimage fund on a monthly basis via wage deduction.

According to Group MD and CEO Datuk Seri Amrin Awaluddin, the THiJARI Biz app will encourage more public and private sector employees to open TH accounts and save for their pilgrimage through wage deduction.
He said that with the introduction of THiJARI Biz, employers may now conduct salary deduction transactions safely and effectively online at any time. Employees can access their crediting records, while employers can check on the transactions made through their respective THiJARI applications.
Mohamed Ameen Abd Wahab, TH business digitisation GM and acting ED of operations, stated that the app would guarantee a one-day salary deduction process, whereas the conventional approach took seven to fourteen days.
He explained that employers could also contribute to online transactions using FPX payment from anywhere without having to go to the TH counter, making it easier for both Muslim and non-Muslim employers to participate.
Mohamed Ameen said that the upgraded function of THiJARI Biz allows the distribution of contributions in line with TH's goal for all Muslim depositors in this country to become depositors in TH to help bolster their pilgrimage savings.

No, instead, TH will contact you to onboard you into THiJARI Biz.
5. My company wants to change the administrator. How can I do that?
You can change your administrator from the "Profile" tab in THiJARI Biz, or you can call THCC at 03-6207 1919.
6. Is there a cap on the total amount of salary deduction transfers?
Yes, the smallest transfer amount is RM1.00, while the maximum transaction value is RM1,000,000 per transaction.
7. When will the funds be credited to my employees' TH accounts?
The funds will be deposited into your employees' TH accounts the following business day (T+1). The letter 'T' denotes a successful payment transfer from the employer to the TH.
8. How can I review my previous salary deduction?
In the THiJARI Biz app, go to the "Transaction History" menu.
THiJARI Biz now has 4,500 employers contributing, with this number expected to grow 20% by 2022.
As of now, the total monthly salary deduction is RM175 million and RM2 billion annually, equating to a 9.5% pay deduction for 170,000 employees and 4,500 employers.
