Hire NowIn a recent update, Touch 'n Go eWallet has significantly changed its online banking reload functions. The company has shifted from using FPX to adopting DuitNow as the preferred method for topping up your eWallet from any DuitNow-supported online banking account. This move aims to enhance security and convenience for users.
The transition to DuitNow means that transferring funds from your bank account to your Touch 'n Go eWallet remains unchanged. Retrieve your DuitNow account number from the eWallet app and initiate the transfer process as you would when transferring funds to another bank account. You can even save this account number as a favourite for repeated reloads, streamlining future transactions.
According to Touch 'n Go Digital, this shift to DuitNow is an additional security measure, reducing the risk of information leakage during transactions. Moreover, this new service now allows users to transfer amounts as low as RM1 from their bank accounts to their eWallets, providing more flexibility and accessibility for customers.
Users need to link their Touch 'n Go eWallet with their DuitNow account to take advantage of this enhanced reload feature.
If you already have a DuitNow account, head to the Profile section within the eWallet app, click the DuitNow button, and select "Link your eWallet with DuitNow." For those who do not have a DuitNow account, worry not, as the system will automatically assign you an account number for seamless integration.
With this upgrade, Touch 'n Go eWallet continues to innovate its services, making online banking reloads more secure and user-friendly. Stay tuned for more exciting updates as the company strives to improve the overall user experience.
