The government assistance channelled to Self-Employed Persons (OBS) through SESSS contributions is as follows:

This Government Assistance is in the form of financing contributions of 70% (RM163.00) from the government, while the OBS pay 30% (RM69.80).

How to apply for the Women's SPS Prihatin?

The starting date is April 1, 2021, and the closing date is December 31, 2021.

The OBS can register and contribute to Women's SPS Prihatin at SOCSO office counters nationwide.

The OBS can make contributions using cash or Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) through Maybank account number 5644 2752 0500.

The OBS who make payment by EFT must fill in the IC number and telephone number in the reference field before making the payment transaction and submit the payment receipt as proof of payment to SOCSO members to activate the contribution.

Letter of appointment / SSM registration certificate/ job confirmation / service provider platform / P-Hailing profile / PBT license / business license / license from a Statutory Body or related / permit.

The coverage period of 12 months (1 Year) for the OBS who make payments by EFT is subject to the date and time of payment receipt (working hours).

The OBS who contributes will receive notification of contribution through email within 24 hours after the contribution is activated by SOCSO members or via SOCSO MATRIX System.

• The government targets all women entrepreneurs or self-employed women, and the target number of recipients is 60,000 people.

2. What are the types of benefits provided under the Women's SPS Prihatin programme?
The OBS who experienced an occupational accident or occupational disease under the Women's SPS Prihatin Programme is eligible for benefits under the Second Category (Employment Injury Scheme). Here are the benefits provided:

3. How can the OBS review their registration?
• The OBS who contribute will receive notification of contribution through email within 24 hours after the member activates the contribution.
• The OBS can also log into SOCSO's MATRIX System to review the contribution status.
• The OBS can pay via contribution checks to 54 SOCSO office counters nationwide.
