Hire NowYou can now schedule your booster dose appointments through the MySejahtera app's Booking Management System for appointment slots from 21 March 2022 and onwards.
This new feature will allow the public to select their preferred vaccination centres (PPV), as well as the time and date for booster dose vaccination through the app.
Datuk Dr Anas Alam Faizli, CEO of ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn. Bhd. said that he hoped this feature would make it easier for members of the public to choose their preferred time and location to obtain their booster dose.
In a statement today, he said that the focus is to promote community awareness and individual responsibility for SOP compliance and expand access to current vaccination programmes, especially for senior citizens. This move will ensure that the transition to the endemic stage starting 1 April 2022 can be done safely.
He added that unboosted or unvaccinated senior citizens with comorbidities have a higher mortality risk if they contracted Covid-19. As Ramadan is around the corner, he advised everyone to receive the booster dose as soon as possible to protect their parents and family. He reminded the public to increase the protection level before entering the transition to the endemic phase.
