Hire NowThe Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (HASiL) is announcing that the submission of Remuneration Year 2021 and Assessment Year 2021 Return Forms through e-Filing for Forms E, BE, B, M, BT, MT, P, TF and TP can be done from 01 March 2022.
Taxpayers can access the e-Filing system through HASiL's official portal at www.hasil.gov.my> MyTax> ezHasil Services> e-Filing.
e-Filing service
Taxpayers who log in for the first time to the e-Filing system need to get the PIN Number in advance through the Feedback Form on the HASiL official portal or come to the HASiL branch counter.
If the taxpayer forgets the e-Filing password, the action to reset the password can be done online, ie via e-mail or mobile phone number registered with HASiL.
For taxpayers who are still having problems in resetting their e-Filing password, they can call HASiL Care Line at 03-8911 1000 (Domestic) / 603-8911 1100 (Overseas), HASiL Live Chat or visit the counter nearby HASiL services.

Taxpayers are advised to submit a Return Form and pay their income tax within the stipulated period. Return Form submission status, refund process, e-Ledger and PCB can be checked through MyTax.
Taxpayers are also advised to ensure that all documents such as income statements, receipts, invoices and other income tax-related documents are collected, neatly arranged and kept neatly for at least seven years as provided under sections B82 and 82A of the Income Tax Act 1967.
It should be done in preparation to facilitate the e-Filing process and compliance review by HASiL in the future.

Friendly reminder to employers who have not completed EA and EC forms
The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (HASiL) is also reminding employers of their responsibility to prepare employee remuneration statements for 2021.
Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 83 (1A) of the Income Tax Act 1967 (ITA 1967), this remuneration statement also known as EA Form (for private sector employers) and EC Form (for government sector employers) must be submitted to employees on or before 28 February each year to enable their employees to complete and subsequently submit their respective Return Forms to HASiL within the stipulated period.
