What Is the STR Schedule 2025?
In 2025, the STR will be released in four phases. Payments are spread out so that assistance reaches recipients at different points in the year. Each phase is linked to household category, income level, and application status.
Who Gets STR
The scheme covers two main groups: single/senior citizens and households.
Single / Senior Citizen Without Spouse

Single: Income RM2,500 and below, aged 21–59, or persons with disability (OKU) aged 19–59. Eligible for up to RM600 (RM150 per phase).

Senior citizen without spouse: Income RM5,000 and below, aged 60 and above. Eligible for up to RM600 (RM150 per phase).
Household Category

Household income RM2,500 and below: Eligible for RM1,000–RM2,500 depending on the number of children. For example, households with 3–4 children can receive up to RM2,000, distributed equally across four phases.

STR Payment Methods
There are two official channels:
Bank Transfer
Funds are credited directly into the recipient’s registered bank account. This is the fastest method and avoids delays.
Cash Collection at BSN
For recipients without valid bank accounts or those living in remote areas, payments can be collected at Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) branches. Employees in rural Sabah and Sarawak commonly use this option.
