The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) had launched a new e-learning hub called e-LATiH.

Employers that fail to conduct screening tests on their foreign employees for COVID-19 by Feb 28 will not be able to renew their temporary working permits (PLKS).

If a person is confirmed as COVID-19 positive and told to home quarantine cannot leave their residence and must be contactable at any time.

The Human Resources Minister also announced that employers must provide quarantine centres to isolate their foreign workers who contracted COVID-19.

Human Resources Minister said that his ministry lamented that there were still organisations that failed to make reports on their employees who tested positive for the disease.

These amendments will improve the protection of workers' rights in Malaysia.

According to the survey, 62% of 1,010 women said they had experienced sexual harassment at the workplace and 56% experienced workplace discrimination.
