Malaysia's unemployment rate increased to 4.8% in June 2021, after four consecutive months of decline.

Malaysia saw the number of unemployed graduates increase by 22.5 per cent. In 2019, there were 165,200 unemployed graduates, which grew to 202,400 in 2020.
