  • Actively searching for jobs or interested in exploring other job opportunities during the pandemic.

According to the findings, about 77% of those interviewed feel that job security is a crucial factor when looking out for job opportunities. Flexible working hours and work-life balance came second at 76%, followed by 75% for salary attractiveness and 69% for the location of the workplace.

As the pandemic resulted in an uncertain future for many Malaysians, job security is important for most of them.

According to the survey, aside from providing an attractive salary, employers should concentrate on offering these perks:

  • Permanent job roles,

  • Great work-life balance,

  • Flexible working hours, and

  • A role that does not require a lot of travelling.
